Miffed

Well, I'm irritated tonight.
Big surprise there.
I find that I am often irritated...must have something to do with being selfish. (That'll give me something to think about as I try to fall asleep later.)

Anyways, I find it most appropriate to present to you...

The Top 5 Things that Irked Me Today.
  • My son. Not him as a person, just his behavior. O.Em.Gee. He was everywhere today! He finally discovered that the books can all be yanked off the bookshelf. I was kinda hoping he wasn't that smart. (Jooooking.) He also decided that he couldn't get through today without lots of hitting and screaming. I was tempted to make 4 in the afternoon his new bedtime.
  • The show "My House, Your Money". Are you kidding me? "I'm 25 and I'm a dog agent. I book jobs for dogs. And I need my dad to buy me a house. I'm daddy's little girl (enter evil cackle)." This is the reason why the world hates Americans.
  • People who don't clear debris off their sidewalk. I've been taking walks with Thomas around town and I gotta say, it's tough out there. The sidewalks seriously leave something to be desired. I almost launched my poor little lamb out of the stroller like 10 times. Uneven sidewalk does not bode well for strollers, they have the power to bring you to an immediate dead-stop. Soooo, when someone leaves garbage bags full of leaves or pieces of huge branches or trashcans on their sidewalk, it just creates a bigger problem. I can only handle so much, townspeople!
  • My husband providing...misleading information to his mother about our plans for Christmas. I won't go into detail (because it's not a huge deal and I don't want to be a hypocrite: see below) but it's frustrating. We haven't really started talking about how we're going to divide up the holidays and he made it sound like we're going to be a bit more "generous" with our time than it may end up being. It'll for sure get worked out. But for tonight, I'm all Hmph.
  • People who try to create drama where there is none. It bugs me to read things like this "Oh my gosh. So this creepy guy who dated my sister-in-law keeps texting me. Grr. What should I do?"...Hmmm...give me a second..Oh, here ya go. --> Don't text back! First of all, you're not that cute. Just get over it. Second, that's not a real problem. You ignore the dumb punk and move on. Ultimate worse case scenario, you change your number. Third, how would he get your number anyway? Sounds made up and you're stupid. I don't know why you'd want to create an imaginary dilemma, but stop. Again, not the end of the world, just irritating to come up while I'm getting my Facebook on.
Ahhhh. I feel much better now.
Time to get back to my favorite late-night programs.
