Back in the Saddle

Hello, Ladies and Gentle men. (I hope you read that in your best Joker voice.)

Well, I'm back. To blogging. At 1:15 am. The title of this blog, and the way I just said I was back, would suggest that I used to blog; when, in reality, I did not. I blogged all of 3 times. Woot. Let's face it, I'm a bad blogger. However, I intend not to be. Anymore. My goal, and a lofty one at that, is to post about once a week. I think that it would be good to do something like that, to have a little outlet, as it were....

So. Let's begin now.

I suppose you're wondering what exactly I've been up to in the past 10 months since I last blogged. Well, if you are, you're in for a treat! Because I am here to quell your curiousities...
Pop some popcorn, sit back, relax, and read on.

*I had a baby.
*I named him Tom.
*He grew (I cooked him well!) and he requires extra love and attention.
*Finished my Bachelor's degree.
*Baked at least 3 dozen cookies.
*Facebooked for 1 billion hours.
*Learned how Pinterest works.
*Worked at a daycare.
*Quit my job at the daycare.
*Sewed 2 pillows.
*Said 'Good-bye' to my chubsband for 5 months.
*Ate at Applebee's at least once.
*Went to 6 little league football games.
*Planned a baby shower.
*Went to 3 weddings.
*Started exercising.
*Stopped exercising.
*Carved pumpkins.
*Went to the mall.
*Took about 5,000 pictures of my son.
*Got new furniture.
*My car broke down.
*Checked out library books and never returned them.
*Got really into wearing sweatpants.
*Learned how to have moves like Jagger.
*Cut my hair.
*Went to Colorado.
*Slept on a futon several times.
*Watched every season of 'Jersey Shore'.
*Slept in a camper.
*Had surgery.
*Rearranged my son's bedroom.
*Learned how to drive stick-shift.
*Got a new phone.
*Read zero books.
*Wrote in my journal, like, twice.
*Blew up my favorite baking dish by being dumb.
*Read someone's blog regularly, just to feel smart.
*Saw ZERO movies at the theater.
*Hung out with friends whenever possible.
*Lived at my parents' over the summer.
*Shared a bedroom with my little brothers.
*Learned how to make chicken parmesan.
*Redesigned my blog.

If you made it though that entire list, kudos to you. What you just read was the abridged version of all the blogs I should have been writing this whole time. Epic Fail, on my part.

I feel...accomplished, pleased. Now that you know all the middle parts of this year I feel confident that it's time to move on. I have some interesting blog ideas, so stay tuned!

If nothing else, you'll at least get the satisfaction of knowing that your life is more exciting than mine.

Cheers!

-Sarah
